A Heartwarming Stay in Klenovica – Unforgettable Hospitality I have travelled extensively across the world, but I have never experienced such genuinely warm and heartfelt hospitality as we received from Zvjezdana Fejes and her daughter Lidia at their beautiful seaside villa in Klenovica. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with two bowls brimming with ripe cherries and grapes, along with a bottle of excellent wine — a gesture that immediately made us feel at home. Upon learning that two of our mothers were celebrating their birthdays during our stay, Zvjezdana surprised us with a homemade, absolutely delicious tiramisu and a spectacular lemon cake. We were also treated to a cheese board and juicy watermelon — such kindness and generosity that truly touched us. Both ladies are elegant, gracious, always smiling, and full of warmth — a perfect combination of class and charm. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed and exceptionally well-equipped, with thoughtful attention to every detail: * monogrammed towels and bed linen * neatly ironed tablecloths * kitchen towels * scented candles and anti-mosquito candles * plug-in repellents and window screens * excellent air conditioning * a fully stocked kitchen, including coffee * high water pressure in the bathroom, with a bidet * a spacious and comfortable terrace with a large table, parasol, chairs, and sun loungers — all overlooking a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea. The beach is just about 200 metres downhill. The town itself is peaceful and quiet, featuring a small marina, a charming church, and three stony beaches (with toilets), including one designated for dog owners. There are also several restaurants and bars, as well as a bakery and café nearby. We are truly grateful to our lovely hosts for making this stay so special.
