Great location 5 mins walk from the beach and restaurants. Big room with nice living space.

When we arrived we found a lot of hairs in the floor of the living room and bedroom as well as stains on the wall and sofa. We asked for the room to be clean again. For the price charged we expected better cleaning service.

Our stay here was an absolute NIGHTMARE . Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. there are plenty of better options in the same price range. We booked through booking.com. The friction started there: after booking, you start receiving a bunch of messages. You have to fill out a form for every single person staying with you. Then, when you think you’re finished, they spam you with extra-long messages. I came to Puerto Escondido to relax, not to read long messages, especially when they contain wrong information. Then, once we arrived, we followed the instructions of the last message sent. We called the indicated number, tried WhatsApp and… NOTHING. We were left stranded in front of the property until someone on Booking.com answered us. We then entered the accommodation. No beach or pool towels were left for us. Within 3 minutes, it was obvious the place was FILTHY. The apartment was extremely DIRTY: hairs everywhere in the bathroom (walls, floors, near the sink, in the tooth glass), a very stained sofa, the outdoor lounge area full of hair and sand, the outdoor table broken, and food on the kitchen chairs. To top it all off, when ready to sleep, we realized some bed linens were missing. Pillows were there but some pillowcases were missing. We reported the issues immediately and NOTHING was done to fix them. We had to get our beach towels OURSELVES, and they did not arrange cleaning. To top it all off, after our day out, we came back ready for a shower and to our surprise there was NO WATER. We had to wait for someone to come and fix it. The man sent was very vulgar, did not say hello or goodbye, entered and left like a thief. As we did not feel comfortable staying for the rest of our trip, we left to another hotel, and booking.com arranged reimbursement for the remaining nights. As someone who works in hospitality, these guys are CLEAR amateurs.

Nice design. Good price. Close to the Main Street. Nice to have a small kitchen for a little breakfast. Ac worked great.

Communication was a bit challenging sometimes but I feel Eduardo was very busy and did his best to manage. No water at one point but was fixed very quickly when contacting the manager. The cleaning staff could do better with making sure all supplies are stocked. A drying rack would be great to add to the room to dry towels and clothes.

Facilities, staff

Great location a short walk from the heart of punta. The road leading up to the property is still under construction so be aware. The apartment was nicely designed and had plenty of light and windows and AC. WiFi was fast. Despite issues mentioned below I felt the value was great and I would stay again if the water issue was fixed.

Bad communication from the staff, I wasn't told what room I was in or how to get my key until I called (luckily I had internet). My key also stopped working and I had to wait a couple of hours stuck in my room before getting a replacement. Eduardo the staff was very nice but seems like he was busy. Also the water never got hot, which lead to me wasting limited water resources waiting for the temperature to change before realizing I had to take a cold shower.

Nice design and very spacious room, but it was a bit dirty , and not very comfortable. Also I think there are better options that will give you more, Like more communal spaces, pool, lobby,etc.

It’s all new, close to the beach

The apartment was brand new, but unfortunately not ready for guests yet. When we arrived, there was still construction dust, debris, screws, and even metal splinters on the floor, which didn’t feel safe. The rooftop was unfinished and some things were covered with a plastic sheet. The small pool was not cleaned regularly and the pump only worked occasionally. The road to the property is very rough and steep – taxis cannot drive all the way, so you have to walk the last part. This could be challenging for people with mobility issues. Finally, the whole area is still under construction, so there was constant noise from building work around us. This place might be nice once it’s fully completed, but at the moment it feels too early to rent out.
