Cozy Farmhouse mit Terasse - 5min zum Waldweg

Very comfortable and imaginatively laid out open-plan ground floor apartment retaining traditional features and furniture, and filled with delightful ornaments, pictures, flowers and tasteful lighting. It felt like a real home, not just a holiday let. During the very hot weather of July 2026, the house stayed cool despite being without A/C. Well-equipped with excellent storage. There is free parking and a small patio with awning. Communal washing machines/dryers downstairs. Wi-fi problem-free. The area is peaceful, yet within 10 minutes walking distance to the centre of Bishofsgrün, a charming and welcoming village with a reasonably stocked supermarket, and a small selection of shops, characterful eateries/cafes and a tourist information centre. The village is around 30 minutes drive from the beautiful city of Bayreuth on good roads and is also on bus routes. Walks are easily reached on foot from the apartment. The owners were very responsive and helpful throughout, dealing with an unexpected repair job promptly.

The house lacked a dishwasher due to space; the kitchenette is very small with little work surface. As we are late bedders, there was an occasional problem of the hot water running low late at night.

Gut eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem, was für ein paar Urlaubstage gebraucht wird.

Verbesserungsvorschlag: Ein Staubsauger, falls mal Krümel vom Esstisch runter fallen.

Die Wohnung liegt recht ruhig und fußläufig (je nach Wahl des Weges zwischen 450 und 700 m) zum Zentrum des Ortes, wo sich die Lokale befinden. Man kann natürlich auch selbst in der kleinen Küche kochen. Die meisten dazu benötigten Utensilien/Gerätschaften sind vorhanden. Das Schlafzimmer (zur Nordseite = schön kühl) ist mit einem sehr großen und bequemen Bett (1 Matratze) ausgestattet, auf dem wir herrlich geschlafen haben. Ganz allgemein ist die Wohnung sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Internet ist wirklich "High-Speed". Zum Schluss möchte ich noch den sehr angenehmen Kontakt zu den Vermietern hervorheben. Fragen wurden unverzüglich beantwortet.
