    The room was fragrant, and the amenities provided were excellent. We also loved the lovely smell in the lobby, the helpful receptionist, and the large, kid-friendly swimming pool. Breakfast had a good variety, and you can order food/drinks by the pool, though they are quite pricey as typical for hotels. ​ However, the aircon gets warm at night (feels like a fixed temperature), and the lifts take quite a long time. Note that there is no lifeguard at the pool. The worst part was the parking system; despite registering our car, we were held up multiple times, including at checkout when the guard claimed we hadn't paid. We had to get out and settle it with reception just to leave. Also, the Japanese breakfast buffet (sushi) was rarely topped up.
