    The hotel exceeded my expectations! The rooms had a Japanese vibe with some great design touches. We particularly appreciated the rock handle on the smoked glass door to the bathroom. Rooms were immaculately cleaned, beds were comfy, robes and slippers were provided as well as tea and coffee facilities. We had rooms on both sides of the corridor which each had mountain views. There lobby was funky; we enjoyed the comfortable couches, music and loved the gummy bear lights. There is also a lounge area, called the Connecting Room, with incredible Korean coffee at no charge. There are disposable cups, bowls and cutlery available as well as a microwave, tables to sit at as well as a desk area in a beautifully designed space. The Reception staff were all outstanding, especially H Y Lee, who went out of their way to make sure we had an awesome stay in Wonju. Although the hotel is remote, it is centrally located to visit the Sogeusam Grand Valley Tourist Area, Museum San and Oak Valley, and the city centre. Note that there is only one restaurant nearby however you can reach many places by taxi. There is also a small 24-hour conveniences store at the hotel. We found that taxis were fairly easy to get and reasonably priced. We used UBER and it cost around AUD$15 for a trip, which was based on the metered taxi fare. The only downside was that even though it was hot while we were there, the hotel pool was closed for the season. We were advised that it's only open in summer.

    방이 전반적으로 넓고 깨끗했고, 욕조 역시 커서 어린아이랑 같이 간다면 수영을 해도 될 정도 크기였어요..아침식사가 약간 별로이긴 한데 가격이랑 비교시 나쁜 편은 아니었어요..다음에도 원주에서 숙박한다면 이용할 생각입니다

    This was one of the best places we've stayed in Korea. Super impressed! The staffs were friendly and helpful, layout of the room was well thought out and feels very spacious, plenty of towels and water provided, parking space was not stressful and many amenities available. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to make use of the sauna and pool, but will definitely want to try them if we ever come back to Wonju :) Overall, it was the most comfortable and restful stay we've had in a long time~ Thank you for making our trip memorable.
