    My initial impression of this hotel unfortunately did not last. The room itself was great - large and comfortable but I had a number of concerns. They advertised a gym but it was a tiny room with little equipment. The only treadmill didn’t work as it needed to be lubricated and the only other thing in there was a spin bike with a seat that was all the way down and couldn’t be moved. The only other equipment was a set of 2 & 5 kg dumbbells. I asked the staff about it on two occasions with no success. My biggest concern was the very slippery tiles throughout the hotel in particular leading from the pool to the rooms and on the stairs coming down from the 2nd story pool. Both of which were often covered in water and as a result incredibly slippery. I had a fall on these stairs and hurt my back very badly. It really impacted the following 10 days of my holiday. I wanted to fill out an accident report form should I need to have treatment when I went home but this proved impossible. Suddenly no one could speak English. In the end I wrote to the General Manager and was ensured that changes would be made to ensure the safety of future guests but my guess is this is not a new problem and I have not been the first person to fall. On a positive note the pool itself was lovely and breakfast was great.

    The pictures make it more beautiful than it really is. It’s okay to rest your head for one night. Nothing spectacular and nothing too horrible.
