Samrudhii Resort

Our stay at Samrudhhi Resort, Gokarna, was far from satisfactory and did not live up to our expectations. The biggest disappointment was the attitude of the hotel staff. They were generally uncourteous, indifferent, and showed little interest in addressing guest concerns. Requests for assistance were met with a lack of urgency, making the overall experience frustrating. The property's maintenance is also in poor condition. Most of the rooms appeared to have water leakage issues, with large seepage patches visible on the ceilings. Several lights in both the rooms and washrooms were fused, indicating that basic upkeep is being neglected. These issues significantly affected the comfort and quality of our stay. Another major concern was the presence of stray dogs roaming freely within the resort premises. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff and security personnel, they were unwilling to drive the dogs away or take any action, which made some guests feel uncomfortable. The resort also lacks an in-house restaurant, which is a significant inconvenience, especially considering its location. Guests have to rely on outside food options, which may not always be readily available. The swimming pool, one of the resort's advertised attractions, was not well maintained. We noticed insects floating in the pool water, raising concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. Overall, the resort appears to have potential because of its location, but poor maintenance, inadequate hygiene, the absence of dining facilities, and an unresponsive staff overshadow any positives. Unless significant improvements are made to the property's upkeep and guest services, I would not recommend staying here.

4k per day is little expensive for it. Staff are very helpful and polite

Good: Quite place. Nice swimming pool Nice sanitary fittings. Average: Room size is compact Service is not that good. Scope for improvement: Bathroom doors doesn't close. No restaurant. No intercom phones and very difficult to reach reach reception for any service.

When we walked in and were checking into our room the front desk Staff were very stiff and didn't seem welcoming us with smile. Power cuts were so rampant that every now and then we had to phoen up and ask for the switch over to generator. The toilet was chocked and water flow was so slow in to the closest, it was really horrible to go to the wash room for toilet purpose. Toilet was not cleaned properly and there were cobwebs both side of the mirror. For breakfast we have to go to outside resturant. For lunch and dinner we could order and food was provided but food was not upto the mark. Landscape and surroundings are excellent. Room is also specious, but the linen is not of great quality and not that clean also. We checked in at 11.00 am on the 26.5.2026 and despite our requests bath towels were supplied at 5.00 pm in the evening. In the morning there was litter everywhere on the staircase and infront of the room as there are dogs and cats everywhere. Over all it wasn't a great feeling of stay over there, even though the property has great potential but the untrained and lethargic staff were not forthcoming at all.
