Maple Comfort

I seldom leave negative reviews, but after staying at Maple Comfort Hotel on three separate occasions, I feel compelled to share my experience. During my first stay, the hospitality was commendable. The staff were courteous, and I even offered a ₹100 tip as a token of appreciation. Unfortunately, each subsequent visit reflected a discernible deterioration in service standards. The purpose of every visit has been medical treatment, requiring us to return every 21 days. The management is fully cognizant of this circumstance. Despite that, during our most recent six-day stay, the room was serviced only once—and only after repeated requests on multiple occasions. Such indifference towards basic housekeeping is both disappointing and incongruous with acceptable hospitality standards. What was even more disconcerting was the persistent solicitation of tips at the time of checkout. There appear to be two managers, one of whom resides on the premises with his family. From my observations, the housekeeping staff seemed to be encouraged to ask guests for gratuities repeatedly. It also appeared that the amount tipped was being scrutinized, creating an atmosphere that felt transactional rather than hospitable. Whether intentional or not, this left an unfortunate impression that monetary expectations had eclipsed genuine guest service. This review is not about the amount of ₹100; it is about empathy and professional ethics. When guests are visiting repeatedly for medical treatment, compassion should take precedence over incessant expectations for tips. Additionally, I would advise fellow travellers to exercise reasonable caution with their personal belongings, as I did not always feel entirely at ease regarding their security. While I did not experience any loss, maintaining appropriate vigilance is always prudent. It is truly regrettable to witness a property that once demonstrated warmth and professionalism gradually succumb to what appears to be commercial avarice at the expense of guest experience. I sincerely hope the management undertakes introspection and restores the standards of hospitality that initially inspired confidence and repeat visits.

The place is good to stay with nice location and calm. Only hard to find any reception or cleaning staff but managed with phone call.

The like the place and rooms are big. We stayed 4 days with extension but hardly changed any amenities and didn’t clean the room. We don’t mind much as we visited vskp for a medical

Overall room is good , but there is no lift for 3rd floor. And no telephone in the room. When ever we need water or something we need to go by the steps to 2nd floor then only we can access the lift.
