Ideal destination for friends and families. Room are quite spacious and food and staff is extremely nice and helpful. Must visit place with beautiful weather bring in top of the hills.

I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but this experience calls for an exception. I was genuinely excited about staying at this property. The moment you enter, it does give off a grand, luxurious vibe. The check-in process was smooth, and the view from our room was breathtaking. However, the positives pretty much end there. Unfinished Infrastructure at Premium Prices Despite the property's visual appeal, it is clearly not ready to operate at full capacity. When you're charging rates comparable to brands like Taj or ITC, the finishing and functionality must meet expectations. Sadly, this wasn’t the case. The toilet was unbranded, and the flush barely worked — I hate having to mention this, but it’s important for prospective guests to know. Ridiculously Priced Food Room service was another shocker. We ordered rice and sabzi — the bill? ₹2,000. The next day, we dined at the in-house restaurant and ordered mutton biryani and kulchas. Since "kulcha" wasn’t listed on the menu, they charged us for one paratha and one assorted roti — ₹1,200 for one kulcha! Completely unreasonable. The only silver lining at the restaurant was Sahil Tota, a staff member who truly understood hospitality. He offered us complimentary paani puri from a kiosk and later some desserts from the buffet. Though we declined the desserts, the gesture reminded me of the warmth typical of Rajasthani hospitality. Another young girl at the restaurant was also very courteous and made us feel welcome. (I am forgetting her name but she was from Kinnaur district). Gaming Area? Or Construction Zone? The gaming area was perhaps the worst I’ve ever seen. It was barely set up. The foosball table was randomly placed in the corridor. Table tennis? Also just left in the hallway. Extremely disappointing for guests who want to unwind after sightseeing. Swimming Pool Claims Are Misleading They claim to have a temperature-controlled pool — it’s not. The water was as cold as the outside air (around 20°C). Almost every guest who entered the pool quickly moved to the small jacuzzi, which couldn’t accommodate everyone. Yes, there was an actual queue to sit in warm water — completely unacceptable for a luxury property. Front Desk: Clueless and Untrained Calling the reception was pointless. The standard response was, “We’ll check with the manager and call you back.” After a while, I felt like telling them to just have the manager answer the phone directly. To make matters worse, when I inquired about accommodation or basic facilities for our driver, the front desk casually replied, "We don’t have any provision for that." I then asked if, at the very least, they could arrange food and access to a bathroom — again, they said, "We’ll have to check with the manager." Strangely enough, when I asked the security head the same question, he immediately confirmed that everything was functional. He promptly arranged a bed, food with clear pricing, and bathroom access for our driver. It was shocking to see that the security team had more clarity and willingness to help than the front desk. A Few Helpful Staff Members Tanisha from the team recommended a lovely place — Tani Jubbar Lake — and a quaint restaurant called Khadu near Fagu. Her recommendation was spot-on and one of the highlights of our trip. Anna and Aadarsh were also warm and helpful in their own capacities. Terrible Temperature Control in Rooms After midnight, the room would turn unbearably hot — apparently because the AC is controlled externally by the maintenance team. There was no fan in the room. We had to step out onto the balcony at night just to breathe. We couldn’t even leave the balcony door open because of nearby homes and barking dogs. We requested the front desk to either give us independent control or provide a table fan — nothing happened. Anna understood our issue at checkout, but by then, the damage was done.
