    One of the best affordable place for solo traveller all services are good and everthing is hygiene and mantain

    room assigned to us was unlivable and extremely dirty with sand flies all over, the bathroom too was extremely dirty, the only thing that was good was the food and all the cook's behaviour and friendly nature apart from that everything was terrible.

    Stayed at Hidden Monkey in Darjeeling during the off-season. The staff were polite, helpful, and provided great service, which was the best part of my stay. However, the property did not meet my expectations. It is located about 5 km from Mall Road, making it less convenient for sightseeing. The rooms did not look as good as the photos shown online, and I couldn't understand why it is so highly recommended on Agoda. The room walls are partitioned with boards, resulting in poor sound insulation, and the geyser was not working during my stay. Overall, while the staff and service deserve appreciation, the property itself is below average in terms of location, room quality, and facilities.
