    After Agoda charged my credit card, upon arrival at the Royal Kamak Hotel, they requested payment for the room saying that Agoda didn't pay them, and charged me MORE! Agoda would not refund my original payment, despite my many requests.

    The rooms are outdated. The beds are hard. The furniture is old. The pool had bugs in it and the floor of the pool is very dirty. The smaller pool didn’t even have water. Speaking of water the hotel kept running out of water. So you couldn’t shower daily. My last 3 days there was no way for me to shower and I had to go to my families house to bath. No compensation was offered to compensate for the lack of water. The WiFi and the satellite tv didn’t work. You had to be in by 8pm nightly or you would be left standing outside the gate for 20+ minutes banging on the gate trying to get into the hotel. Then on a THURSDAY, morning I am woken up at 6:30am by someone loudly playing a trumpet for a wedding prep. Then there was people yelling and fussing for hours after that making it impossible for me to go back to sleep or get any work done. Then the breakfast they just brought up whatever they thought you wanted, never asked me what I would like to have and I never ate it because it was never what I wanted. The last 3 days there was no breakfast because there was no water. I did like that they had coded doors, so you don’t have to worry about leaving your key with the staff or losing a key, but the battery in my door was going dead so I was locked out several times. The laundry service was not available. However, the young staff were very nice and helpful. Overall I would not stay here again.
