Girma, our host and guide made the whole experience amazing!

This was the most fantastic Hotel and we loved our two days stay there. Because it is low season we were the only guests staying at the hotel, but the staff made us feel so very welcome. They even gave us an amazing dancing welcome party when we arrived at the hotel. Also, what made us stay Incredible was our fabulous guide, GIrma, not only did he come and pick us up from the airport, which was a surprise, he also took us on the best tour of the ancient rock Hewn churches in Lalibela - he put up with my partner’s fussy insistence of looking around loads of shops as well. So, this all made us stay a fabulous experience which we will not forget, guards, Dr Laurence Dunn
