The location was a 10 minutes drive to the airport. Ease of booking very short term.

First, once we had booked, we inquired about the shuttle service. It says just under the pictures on the booking.com website, “Airport shuttle (free.)” However, we were told that the shuttle would cost US$ 8. (the booking was uncancealable as we needed a room for the night since our flight was rescheduled) We had no chance, so we paid $8. The taxi driver waited for us at the airport, which we appreciated. 10 minutes later we were at the hotel where the 2nd surprise was waiting for us. We had booked “a Double Room with Private Bathroom and a King size bed.” However, the lady told us that unfortunately there was no one available as the person who was in the room had just checked out and another person would arrive later that night. Our bathroom was not in the room either. She explained that this was a private bathroom. Of course, it was “private” since no one else had booked the “shared bathroom” option which was cheaper. When we rechecked the pictures later, the room corresponded exactly to the description of the “Economy Double Room with full bed and shared bathroom.” She didn’t lower the price either. We were tired and didn’t argue as we needed to get up early for our morning flight. In addition, this seemed to be a private house rather than an apartment. Everyone shared the kitchen and living room area. These amenities were not even offered to us. We also had problems with the payment as she wanted us to pay with either US$ in cash, PayPal or Zelle. Just be aware of all this.
