    The property is a tastefully designed bungalow built in the early 1980s where the owner used to live in. It is located at a quiet neighbourhood that is just 10 minutes away from the Galle Face Green area by tuktuk. The place is well-kept and the rooms, although somewhat aged, remain comfortable and clean. The lawn beside the house is a calm spot to listen morning bird chirpings (birdlife is abundant in the neighbourhood), watching inquisitive squirrels darting amongst trees whilst enjoying a cup of tea with a book at hand. Highly recommended if you wish to spend a few days in a quiet spot by yourself. The owners are a charming family who tried their best to accommodate my needs.

    I recently had the pleasure of staying at 19 St. Stephen's Villa in Colombo for three nights on a business trip, and I had a really good time. From the moment I arrived, the whole experience was excellent. The place is in a great spot for a business traveler like me. It's located right in the middle of the city, which made it very easy to get to all of my meetings without wasting time in traffic. Even with its central location, the villa was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, which was perfect for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep after a long and busy day. My room was very clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable and productive. The bed was comfortable, and there was a good desk where I could set up my laptop and get some work done. The Wi-Fi connection was strong and reliable, which is always a big plus. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job every day, and it felt very comfortable and welcoming, just like home. The best part of my stay was the staff. They were so nice and friendly. For example, they were always ready to help with small things, like calling a taxi for me or giving me directions. Their excellent service made my whole trip easy and stress-free. To put it simply, St. Stephen's Villa is a fantastic place for business travelers. The convenient location, comfortable rooms, and wonderful staff make it a special find in Colombo. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.
