First off. We actually stayed at Surf Haven- Cozy Cottage in Ucluelet. The company moved us to the cottage for the same price as it was more inline with what we wanted.
Ok this is petty but the basket that holds the lose tea provided doesn’t fit inside the teapot.

Location was nice and beds were comfy
- There were supposed to be pet towels, but I could not find any
- shelf in bathroom is broken (not hung up properly so unusable)
- can opener doesn't work at all

Close to town, good heating, great views, clean, modern and comfortable. Loved the vaporizer and natural products. Staff very responsive to an issue we had and was dealt with immediately. Staff member offered a dog water bowl as we had forgot ours. Lovely staff and very accommodating. Loved that it was dog friendly and offered and dog bed and blanket.
No standard stove or oven, only 2 hot plates and a toaster oven, which is ok for short stays. For longer stays not having a clothes closet or storage for luggage and no storage in the bathroom was a little annoying. No access to a broom or vacuum also made keep floors clean in bad weather hard. Tenants upstairs could be heard walking heavily and their use of the washer and dryer late at night was a little inconsiderate.
