We had a great stay here and spent 10 days at the apartment. It’s a small place, but it has everything you need, and the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. We did a mix of remote work and holiday during our stay, and the Wi-Fi was super reliable, which was a big plus. Since there was no one staying in the room next to us, it was also quite quiet, though if you have a light sleep, the noise coming from the street might be an issue at times.

Our only suggestion would be to provide a few more towels for longer stays. Other than that, everything was great, and we really enjoyed our time here!

Amazing location. Right downstairs is a shop, a bakery, a restaurant and a bus stop. Everything you'd need.

​I liked the cleanliness of the place, and the location was good. I also liked the fact that there was a coffee shop just across the road. The directions on how to get the key from the locker were really clear. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no kettle. I was asked to use the microwave to boil water-which can be very dangerous- or to use the hob, but I would have had to use a cooking pan to boil the water, which is not suitable. ​I was given a kettle eventually, but I was told that there was a possibility of it tripping the fuse, so I didn't end up using it. ​Communication with the host via Booking.com was difficult as they communicated in Portuguese and I don't understand the language, meaning I had to use a translator every time. ​It was extremely noisy. There is no double glazing on the windows, and the accommodation is right next to the road. I couldn't get a good night's sleep, especially on Friday night when clubgoers (there is a club nearby) come out early in the morning and scream for the fun of it! ​On another day, a couple was arguing the whole night, and getting any sleep was impossible. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from the next room. You can also smell food strongly when other guests cook. ​When I first arrived around 5:00 AM, the building was dark, and I could hardly see the stairs or find the lift. I was not given directions on where the light switch was. I didn't fall, but it could be very tricky for someone else. I suggest that the host let guests know where to find the switch. It's easy once you know where it is, but first-time visitors need to know, especially when arriving in the dark.
