Our helpful hosts were there to welcome us and gave us a very thorough tour and detailed instructions on how to use everything. They were very keen to ensure that we were happy with everything which of course we were. The apartment is on the top floor of the beautiful and historic Palazzo Di Calabritto and is in an incredible location right in the heart of Chiaia which is a pretty, affluent area of the city (the Mayfair of Naples). It's bustling during the day but quiet at night and no noise issues at all. It's a short stroll to the seafront which is lovely. There are lots of bars, restaurants and high end shops all within walking distance. A lot of the main sights are all within a 15-20min walk away, via Chiaia takes you there and has more local, outlet type shops and more cafes, bars and restaurants. There is a taxi rank just off the the Piazza dei Martiri outside and the Chiaia Funicular railway and Chiaia Metro station are a 10 minute walk from the apartment . The view from the apartment roof terrace is wonderful, you can see Capri, the bay of Naples and up the hill to Vomero and the Castel Sant'Elmo (another amazing, well maintained district). The apartment was well equipped, lots of storage, is clean and comfortable and slept 2 adults and 2 teens (one in the 2nd bedroom and one on the living room sofa bed - those rooms are separated by a sliding door so worked really well for us). We had a wonderful time here and would certainly recommend it.
Nothing! We reported a couple of minor issues to our hosts which they appreciated but these did not spoil our enjoyment of the apartment at all. This is an incredible 17th century building so there are cobbled courtyards and lots of stone staircases to navigate but only one small lift (small charge for use on weekdays, free at weekends). Again, it wasn't an issue for us at all but worth pointing out.

Très bel et spacieux appartement très propre et très bien situé au coeur de Naples. La vue sur la mer, Capri et le Vésuve (de la terrasse) est magnifique! Le rooftop est un vrai plus et offre un panorama exceptionnel sauf que l'électricité ne fonctionnait pas.
Il y a deux grandes chambres, une seule est climatisée. Nous nous sommes servis du salon qui est climatisé comme troisième chambre. le canapé convertible y est très confortable. Il y a également deux salles de bain spacieuses chacune avec des toilettes et de nombreux articles de toilette à disposition.
Quelques bémols:
-La cuisine n'est pas assez équipée pour cuisiner et prendre des repas: il n'y a pas de micro-ondes, de bouilloire, grille-pain, torchons (on en a demandé sans résultat), maniques, couteau de cuisine, aucun condiment... En revanche de nombreuses dosettes pour la machine à café sont à disposition.
- Pour monter à l'appartement, il faut être sportif! Il est au 3e étage avec de nombreux escaliers! Il y a un ascenseur qui coûte 10 centimes d'euro de 8h à 20h! Mais il reste quand même des marches! Donc pas conseillé à tous.
