    I booked this hotel for its proximity to the airport and its airport shuttle service. I got upgraded to a huge and nicely decorated room with 2 sinks, separate bath, shower and tub. I also took advantage of their free airport shuttle service for an early morning flight. Overall, very satisfied with my stay. The only minor inconvenience is that the bathroom and shower have semi-transparent doors.

    So the hotel itself is like a villa – it's huge, the rooms were so spacious and very affordable. It was very comfortable. I also appreciated the shuttle service! Even without it, it was very close to the airport and Shanghai Disneyland. But, the Wifi signal was so poor in my room (building 5) that I almost pulled my hair out as I needed to get work done. I quite literally had to move around my room to find a spot with the strongest Wifi. The other thing is that when I entered the room, the huge painting above the bed had fallen off and onto the bed. The nails had also fallen off. When I brought this up to the front desk, they did swiftly send someone over to pick up the painting because it was HEAVY and an aunty to change out my pillow sheets because of the dust and drywall that had fallen. But I was just a bit surprised by the reaction of the front desk – they didn't apologise, ask if I was there when it fell etc. Their reaction was like it had happened before. I'm just thinking that luckily it fell off the wall in the period of time between cleaning and me checking in, because if I had been sleeping and the painting fell on me, it would have definitely broken my nose at the very least. Overall, it was a nice hotel and I probably would stay there again but I think the hotel staff needs to check on their wall fittings – and I probably would do the same in my assigned room the next time just to be safe.

    Pros : Very close from the Pudong airport, perfect location for an overnight stop over. You can experience local vibes around the hotel. Free shuttle, just ask at the front desk. Cons : Unfortunately, I can smell lots of smoke... and bit of noise but it was tolerable.

    Okay for catching a flight out, but not much around. Didn’t care for the fluorescent lighting and the children’s decor as a solo traveler.
