We really like this hotel and the location. Will definitely come back!

The room exceeded my expectation. I liked how it has everything that I need from microwave, fridge, washing machine, full length mirror, utensils, kettle, and more. The style of the bed is great also. I love it! All staff are very accommodating, too.

My husband and I stayed here for our last 4 nights in China and loved and hated it! All in all I would not recommend this apartment hotel. To begin with we would give it perhaps a 3/4 star rating as it's really just an apartment hotel so it's modern and has a washer/dryer, refrigerator and microwave but no crockery, cutlery or utensils. No cooking facilities as such. It did have complimentary coffee pods, which was nice, but no sugar. The finish of the tiling etc wasn't great plus some of the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. I had to remove the drainage grate in the shower to remove the hair that was preventing the water from draining away, which was gross! The bed was comfortable, however, but the air conditioning was temperamental and hard to get right. The only person to speak any English in the hotel was the manager, which was quite frustrating at times, but not uncommon in China. We just find it strange that hotels don't employ more staff relatively proficient in English if their establishment is listed on websites aimed at foreign tourists. The other issue we found, although the hotel was acceptable and had a great many options for breakfast, was the distance to anything other than a mall. There are plenty of food options 5 minutes walk away however for tourists the distance was far too far for attractions. And this is one of the reasons we don't recommend it. It's more suited to Chinese tourists visiting locals in the area. Finally, we wanted to use the pool on our first day and were met with an aggressive male pool attendant who wanted us to use a cap, even though I explained to him and then the hotel manager that as my hair is blonde I will not be submerging it in the chlorine water as it will turn green with excessive chlorine exposure. They didn't listen! I was forced to purchase a cap that wasn't even water proof, so really a waste of money. Furthermore the pool is small and appears to be used to teach locals to swim also. This is probably another reason we wouldn't recommend Fraser Place.
