    This was our first time visiting a city in China and we had a wonderful experience in Qingdao. Everything here feels very practical and convenient. The hotel was close to the subway, which made getting around extremely easy, and when we felt too tired to explore, there were great shopping malls/museums nearby with plenty to see. The hotel staff were very kind, and even though they didn’t speak English, the issue with my room was resolved quickly (of course with a translation app!) and we were given a different room immediately after notifying them. I had originally booked a room with windows but was first assigned one with sealed windows which felt suffocating. I also noticed during booking that many hotels in Qingdao offer windowless rooms, so that’s something to watch out for. I definitely want to re-visit this city again and stay at this hotel again too, we had a great time 💕

    Location is pretty good with a 5 min walk to the metro. Didi is slightly inconvenient as the area is gated so would have to walk slightly to the main road to get on or get off. Area is near certain places of interest but is a 20-25 mins metro ride to the main QingDao city centre. However the metro or Didi makes it very convenient. You can order Meituan also and just insert your room number and they will deliver to your room via the robot. They upgraded my room to an internal window upon arrival. The room is slightly dark as the lighting are slightly dim but it didn't affect much.

    A beautiful hotel inside and outside The room was very comfortable from the beds to the shower with the thoughtful touches from powerpoints to lighting.
