Location in an up and coming area, and central to N Central Park and transportation. Old building, apartment a bit tired but has all the basics. Kitchen is fully stocked. Needs a bedside table in small room and luggage stands in bedrooms. Only one couch in living room vs pictures. Good communication with agency and easy to check in.

Apartment is in an older building on a fairly busy, littered street. As you make your way up the stairs to the apartment, the surroundings are shabby and neglected. HOWEVER, once you enter the apartment, you are greeted with a clean, bright, airy space! All rooms have an air conditioner, which was perfect for our mid-September stay. Lots of clean towels in each bedroom, soap in the bathroom, coffee filters in the kitchen. Another bright spot during our stay was the fantastic coffee/breakfast place literally around the corner, where you can sit outside and watch the bustling, interesting life of the neighborhood.(The only negative thing about the apartment was the lack of bedding for the foldout. We found a bottom sheet and a blanket but there were no pillows. Also the sofa pillows lacked covers. Not a big deal, but aesthetically displeasing).Otherwise we were very pleased with our accommodations! Would stay here again.

The apartment was ideally located for us, just steps from Central Park North, and the red line gets you to Time square in 10 min. Very quiet place which is rare for New York. So we felt it was an ideal by not sleeping in the busy center of Manhattan but still being very close.
