The beautiful vacation home “Villa Blue Mandala” is located at the small-scale Santa Catharina Resort. Since the Santa Catharina Resort consists of about thirty vacation homes and the Santa Catharina neighborhood is very quiet, Villa Blue Mandala offers the ideal setting to completely unwind! The perfect way to enjoy a wonderful vacation on tropical Curaçao!
The resort is spacious and secured by an electronic gate.
Villa Blue Mandala features a lovely private pool in the garden.
The garden is completely enclosed, so you have complete privacy!
You’ll also share a spacious pool with the resort’s other guests, where you can swim laps to your heart’s content. This pool measures 5 x 15 meters.
On clear days, you can even see the neighboring island of Bonaire from the pool deck.
Because of the resort’s small scale, it’s almost always quiet at the communal pool, and it’s even possible that you’ll have the pool all to yourself every now and then!
Since outdoor living is central to life on Curaçao, Villa Blue Mandala offers plenty of outdoor living space. At the front of the house is a small terrace with a seating area, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sun. On the side of the house is a large veranda with a spacious dining table. Adjacent to the veranda is a palapa with a lounge area. During the day, this palapa offers a pleasantly cool spot in the shade, and in the evening, it’s the ideal place to have drinks and play games!
Adjacent to the Santa Catharina Resort is the Koraal Tabak nature reserve. This area is perfect for a nice hike, a challenging mountain bike ride, or taking in the rugged north coast of Curaçao! Just 5 minutes away is Sint Joris Bay, the place to be on Curaçao for water sports like kitesurfing and windsurfing.
The nearest supermarket, “Toko Seru Pretu,” is just a 2-minute drive (1.2 km) from the resort. Some of the island’s larger supermarkets include “Mangusa Hypermarket” and “Mahaai Centrum,” both of which are within a 10-minute drive. The popular beaches of Jan Thiel and Mambo Beach are just a 15-minute drive from the resort. Had enough of the hustle and bustle? Then head back to the pleasant tranquility of the Santa Catharina Resort!

Everyone is welcome here, young and old alike.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind.
People live in the immediate vicinity either permanently or for extended periods.
Please be considerate of the neighbors to avoid causing noise disturbances.
In particular, late in the evening and at night, it is not permitted to play loud music or speak loudly.
You are renting the house for your group. Visitors are permitted by arrangement.
However, it is not permitted to allow guests to stay overnight without prior arrangement.
Aside from the fact that Curaçao always offers great weather (with the occasional brief shower), there is so much more to discover!

The towels provided in the house may NOT be taken to the beach, but they can be taken to the pool. So be sure to bring your own beach towels if you plan to visit the beautiful beaches.
Since electricity and water are very expensive on the island, a deposit of €25.00 per night is required.
Meter readings are taken at the beginning and end of your stay. Any unused portion of the deposit will be refunded to you within 7 days.
If the deposit is insufficient, you may receive a bill for the difference. You have complete control over how much you spend on water and electricity. Do you leave the air conditioner running all day, or do you use it only when you really need it? This ensures that costs are billed fairly. The house is wonderfully breezy; with a fan and the windows open, that’s often enough to cool the space down enough for a comfortable night’s sleep. Both bedrooms have an air conditioner and a fan available.
There is a third fan in the living room.
You are expected to leave all dishes, the oven, the microwave, and the BBQ clean. If they are not clean, an additional €50.00 will be deducted from the security deposit.
Tap water in Curaçao is safe to drink; it is distilled from seawater and meets the highest quality standards of the World Health Organization (WHO).
