You enter the apartment through the large, open entryway with a closet, which leads to the dining area and the open kitchen. Here, you can cook in a high-quality Nolte kitchen with an induction cooktop and dine at the oak dining table. From the kitchen, you have direct access to the beautiful sun terrace with a beach chair, umbrella, and patio furniture. Adjacent to the kitchen and dining area is the cozy living area with a high-quality Bali sleeper sofa and a smart TV. The bedroom is furnished with a 180x200 cm upholstered bed and features an electrically operated window (which can be darkened with an electric roller shade), from which you can gaze up at the sky. In the bathroom, you’ll enjoy the luxurious rain shower and, of course, a heated towel rack. The entire apartment is equipped with underfloor heating. A special feature is the impressive ceiling height, which creates a wonderful sense of space. Our house has undergone a sustainable renovation and features a PV system and a solar thermal system that make optimal use of the island’s sunshine. A private parking space is available for you in the courtyard, and additional parking is available on the street. A washer and dryer are available to you free of charge in our guest laundry room outside the house.

The Surroundings

Staberdorf is a small, agricultural village in the southeastern part of the island. Our house is located on the village’s main street, which leads to the cliffs of Staberhuk. There’s a beautiful natural swimming beach here, which you can reach by bike or on foot (about 2 km), including via a small hidden path through the fields. You’ll find a fine sandy beach with a DLRG lifeguard station and a great spot for fish sandwiches and ice cream in Meeschendorf, about 2 kilometers from the house. The island’s popular South Beach, with its promenade, playgrounds, and tourist attractions, is about 4.5 km away—a great bike ride along the coast. The island’s capital, Burg, with its numerous supermarkets and historic old town, is about 6 km away. A little tip: Twice a week—even in the off-season—the mobile bakery stops right next to our house. Here you can get delicious cakes, great rolls, and excellent bread.
