Shalacory is the ideal starting point for discovering the beauty of eastern Sicily, from Taormina to Catania, all the way to the slopes of Mount Etna.
Shalacory is a recently renovated vacation apartment equipped with every comfort to make you feel right at home even while on vacation. Perfect for both a romantic weekend for two or a family vacation with children or infants, you’ll find the ideal atmosphere for your stay here at Shalacory.
Shalacory features two comfortable bedrooms, one of which includes a desk for remote work; both are air-conditioned and furnished with modern, functional pieces to enhance your vacation.
A fully equipped kitchen with appliances allows you to comfortably prepare meals, while the furnished terrace and a lush private garden will let you enjoy peace and coolness when you wake up or in the evening.
A comfortable bathroom and an adjoining utility room equipped with a washing machine.
Finally, the house also features a small storage room where you’ll find an iron, an ironing board, beach gear, and much more.
Shalacory is located just a short walk from the waterfront promenade that connects the quaint fishing village of Torre Archirafi to the Etna port of Riposto and its historic Art Nouveau-style fish market, just a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive away, during which you can enjoy the extraordinary and majestic view of Mount Etna—Europe’s tallest and most active volcano—all the way to Taormina and the Calabrian coast.
Near the apartment, you’ll find a convenience store, post office, pharmacy, tobacco shop, restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, and lounge bars.

You’ll enter through the building’s main gate, which leads directly to your home.
Shalacory is located on a mezzanine level, so you won’t have to carry your luggage up any stairs!
I personally welcome my guests and provide assistance and helpful tips throughout their stay.
I know the area very well and am in contact with local services and transportation providers.
I recommend renting a car to fully experience the area.
Tourist tax: 1 euro per person per night for up to 6 nights (excluding children under 14 years of age), payable upon arrival.
