Cozy 3 BDR House in Lexington, MA

Great location, pet friendly, comfy beds and pleasant hosts. The house is a great size and ready for a family with a dog. This was a good fit for us moving our daughter into college from out of state with our dog. The house is definitely older and has character, it just needs a lot of TLC. Older furniture, paint chipping, things missing, bathroom needs updating, and some older home quirks, especially with electric. If these things get updated, it would've been a 5 star review. We'd definitely return due to conveniences.

Check-in fine, very spacious, house is next to a bus stop for people wanting to take advantage of public transit. WiFi was fine. Met our needs.

Some windows were open, rain was coming in. House temp was 56. Contacted the PM right away and they explained that there had been trash left in the house and it did not smell pleasant - that's great, thanks for airing it out. Check-in isn't until 4 and it had been raining all day. Maybe close the windows and clean up before 4? I was not expecting to clean up rainwater upon check-in.Pulled out some sheets to make the foldout couch up into a bed, so disgusting. Not clean, at all. Some crusty stuff on them. Washed them immediately. Informed the PM.Mouse traps in the basement had mouse bodies in them (that might have been part of the smell). Informed the PM. Issue was not acknowledged.Not super clean. Common areas could use a REAL scrubbing. Greasy kitchen fixtures/counters, dust bunnies/pet hair/cobwebs in corners/under/behind mobile furniture (didn't go looking for dirt, it was just there).Returned one-night, overhead garage door was open. We didn't use the garage and the door was closed when we left for the day. Informed the PM upon checkout (maybe there is a short??) Didn't hear back.HUGE potential to be an awesome rental. Lack of cleanliness was a big turnoff (dead mice too).
