Joyful Beach House on the Great South Bay: Sunsets and Live Music

Wake up to the Great South Bay. This ranch-style home sits directly across from the water in Patchogue, with an unobstructed view of Shorefront Park and the village band shell. In summer, you can hear the concerts from your own patio. Most evenings end with the sunset over the water.

Inside
The home is open concept and full of natural light. The remodeled kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a farmhouse sink, and a butcher block counter, with everything you need to cook a real meal. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed, plus a futon in the living room. The bathroom has a shower and a hairdryer. Heating, air conditioning, wifi, and a washer and dryer are all included, so the house works just as well in January as in July.

Outside your door
Shorefront Park and Rider Park are next door, with walking paths along the water and a kayak launch near the pier. The Patchogue Beach Club, with a pool and a sandy beach, is a short walk away. Corey Beach is about a nine-minute drive.

Getting around
The ferry to Fire Island is about half a mile away, so you can spend the day at the ocean and be back for dinner. Downtown Patchogue, with its restaurants, shops, and theater, is about a mile away. The train station is also about a mile away, with a direct line toward New York City. The driveway fits two to three cars.

Small comforts
Check in yourself with a keypad, at whatever hour you arrive. Dogs are welcome. And every guest is greeted with a single rose, a small family tradition we bring to each stay.
