- Outside July and August: rentals possible per night (3 nights minimum rentals): possibility of arrival and departure on any day.
Weekend (2 nights), from Friday afternoon 4pm to Sunday morning 12pm.
In July and August: rental by weeks only, from Saturday afternoon 4 pm to Saturday morning 12 noon (arrival possible on Sunday)

The coastal path

Nice walk on the coastal path:
Bandol, it is not only a well-known vineyard, a little countryside air a stone's throw from the sea, a lively city center, good restaurants, an island and fine sandy beaches. but it is also a coastal path ideally laid out for pleasant family walks.
This easy hike starts at the exit of the Renecros cove, from Avenue Albert 1er where it is possible to park for free.
A first part of the path runs along the coast and bypasses the Bandol tennis club. Lulled by the wind, the Encanet point offers beautiful views of the Ile Rousse and the Riou archipelago.
The path quickly joins the Avenue George V. We climb the hill and then continue straight on a dirt road to the imposing Athena residence. From there, the atmosphere becomes wilder and the walk can really begin.
After a few minutes of operation, we cross the beach of Les Engraviers to attack a rather steep but fortunately short climb! This is the only difficulty of the route.
When we reach the top, we enter a pleasant pine forest which from time to time offers views of the Var coast, the Bec de l'Aigle in La Ciotat and the immensity of the Mediterranean!
And then, at the bend in the path, an imposing rock appears... An island? Its strange shape is reminiscent of a boat resting on the water at the foot of an imposing cliff. This rock is called "La Galère" but the southerners give it the sweet name of "Sous-marin". By the way, for us it's "The submarine ride" before being the one in Port d'Alon!
The walk continues in the pine forest and the path overlooks the railway tracks.
A few more minutes of operation and here we are at the Calanque de Port d'Alon! An ideal place to swim in summer, picnic or daydream in front of the blue horizon. The water is clear, the sun makes it sparkle. Let's enjoy this little paradise!
Practical information
• Access: avenue Albert 1er in Bandol
• Free parking along the street
• 9km ride to Port d'Alon/ 2h30 round trip
• Easy hike, less than 100m of elevation. Just a steep climb after the beach of the gravels.
• Be careful, in summer check if the massif is open to walkers.
