We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here over Christmas 2025. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. The place was clean, had great amenities and the location can't be beat. It is located directly across from Winter Park Mountain and within minutes from downtown. Highly recommend renting!

Checking in and out was a breeze. The house was nice and clean. VRBO representatives were very nice,We were disappointed that the Jacuzzi in 2 of the bedrooms did not work, neither did the fireplace. We felt that this was turned off on purpose .FYI. The thing I wish i knew/realized before hand was that the elevator is not at the entrance of the garage. It is actually on the second floor. We had a handicap person that had to use her cane to,walk up a flight of stairs to get to the main entrance .Also, Wilmington is a dead town in December, This trip was not all about fireplaces, the elevator, nor the weather. It was about family and we did have a great stay with Christian family and friends.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the property. Most of us had never been to Carolina Beach and was a little shocked when the locals did not come across as being very friendly. We were there for a wedding so there was music and loud conversations that we shut down just before midnight on a Friday. Police came out twice, the second time most of us were already in bed. It felt a little like racial profiling. All in all though the wedding was beautiful and that's what mattered most.

The house is in a dream location - a mile from the boardwalk, 5 min drive from Publix, and perfectly set between the intracoastal and the beach. We had a great time using pool, amazing array of beach toys, and kayaks at the house. We rented wagons from Pleasure Island Rentals that made getting to and from the beach in one trip (with 6 adults and 5 young kids) a breeze!
The tenants before us seemed to have been a bit rough on the house, so we noted a few repairs needed, but Jessica and Justus were extremely communicative and accommodating, keeping any potential disruptions to our stay extremely minimal. Would be an absolute pleasure to stay here again.
