About this cabin rental
Looking for the ultimate vacation experience in the heart of nature? Escape to this delightful cabin in the beautiful northern Minnesota wilderness. Our cabin offers breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. Our place is nestled on a very private property, on a calm bay of Bear Island Lake. You will have plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife and listen to the songs of the great Minnesota loons. Enjoy a day making memories swimming & floating on the bay, kayaking on the open water and fishing to your hearts content! Bear Island lake has 2 public boat launches and we have a large dock where you can park your boat during your stay. For a day away from the cabin both Babbitt and Ely provide challenging golf courses and miles of hiking trails. In the evening you can enjoy a cozy campfire, roasting marshmallows and endless stargazing! The Babbitt Ely area has incredible trails to ride your SXS.
Inside the cabin you will find a master suite with 1 queen bed and 1 twin with a full bath, the second bedroom has 1 queen bed. The second full bathroom features a 22 in soaking tub! We have a spacious living area with a smart TV and WIFI. The kitchen has all of the tools you need to whip up a fabulous dinner to share with family. For those that prefer to grill while on vacation, we have one of those just out the sliding door on a large deck.
In the winter the lake brings access to snowmobile trails and miles of cross country skiing or snow shoeing! This cabin is only a short drive to the town of Babbitt as well as beautiful down town Ely! Ely has a variety of great shopping a dinning options. Don't forget to stop by the Wolf Center and learn all about the Timberwolves in northern MN. For those interested in a day of downhill skiing or snow boarding we are only about 30 miles from Giants Ridge ski resort as well.

Lovely location on the lake. Cabin is older but very cute and comfortable. Enjoyed visiting Ely and the shops and amenities there. Fishing was good. Caught enough for two meals and froze enough for two more meals at home. Boat launch is conveniently located close by. We would book again.

Restfully wonderful! Everything was perfect! The tub was a bubble bath dream! Actually got to watch the trees day by day change into magnificent colors. Wildlife galore and fun to watch. Definitely will be a return adventure we are looking forward to!!
