    I stayed at this hotel for one night and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the reception staff in the lobby did not greet me or make me feel welcome. There was no welcome drink, no smile, and the overall attitude seemed indifferent. For a hotel carrying the Mövenpick name, the level of service was far below expectations. What shocked me even more happened later that evening. After returning from Nizami Street, I was approached by a man standing right in front of the hotel lobby. He claimed to be from Turkey and said he needed money because his wife was in the hospital. Out of sympathy, we gave him 10 manat, but then he aggressively demanded 50 manat instead. It felt like a scam. I find it unacceptable that guests can be approached by scammers directly outside the entrance of a hotel of this standard. The next morning, I requested a bottle of water, but the staff refused, saying that because I was checking out that day, they could not provide any complimentary water. Seriously? Refusing a simple bottle of water to a guest is extremely stingy and poor hospitality. I ended up having to buy a small bottle for 6 manat. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. Poor service, lack of hospitality, security concerns, and an unwillingness to accommodate even a basic request. I would not recommend this hotel.
