Porta del Mare Apartment Sea and city life

Eine schön eingerichtete, geräumige Wohnung in nächster Nähe zum Meer und zur Altstadt. Zur Altstadt sind es 3 Gehminuten, zum Meer 5 Gehminuten. Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch um die Ecke. Das Apartment ist neu und sauber. Die Küche hat alles was man benötigt.

-Kein Parkplatz dabei (man muss an der Straße parken und Glück haben, wenn man einen kostenfreien Platz bekommt). -Der Safe ist nicht fest verbaut, was einen Safe witzlos macht. Man kann ihn theoretisch samt Inhalt einfach mitnehmen. -Es könnten mehr Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt werden, da man ansonsten jeden Tag waschen muss. -Man hat nur eine Zimmerkarte, welche gleichzeitig den Strom in der Wohnung garantiert. Ist man also außer Haus, gehen Klimaanlage, Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine aus. -Man kann die Wohnungstüre Nachts nicht abschließen . Diese Tatsache hat unser Sicherheitsgefühl eingeschränkt. -Die Übergabe des Hosts war sehr lieblos. In anderen Unterkünften, in denen wir waren, wurde sich viel mehr Mühe gegeben. Wir haben die Wohnung nicht gescheit gezeigt bekommen, haben keine Restaurantempfehlungen oder sonstige Starthilfen bekommen. Wir hatten den Eindruck, es ging nur darum, dass wir bezahlen.

This property is even better than the photos! We were met by Gabriel upon arrival and he showed us the apartment and gave us some tips for local spots. There was also a host gift of local wine, tarallo, and a tote bag! So nice! The apartment was SPOTLESS. Exceptionally clean. It has everything you could need (including a washing machine and clothes drying rack!) for a couple days in Monopoli. The location and proximity to the sea is unbeatable! Also, the view of the cathedral from the stunning patio, and the sounds of the bells ringing really was amazing! Beniamino was a wonderful host and helped answer any questions I had. Just a really great experience and I will defintiely stay here again if I'm ever back in Monopoli!

Bed was a bit firm - but once we got extra pillows we slept perfectly!

The apartment was very tastefully decorated with everything we could possibly need. Its location is excellent a few minutes from nice beaches, or the old town and all the restaurants, and a little mini supermarket 1 min on the next street over. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We had a baby cot and high chair provided. The apartment was so well sound-proofed, and the bedroom shutters enabled near black out - perfect with kids - meaning it was very restful and calm.

There are 2 flights of stairs which are challenging with a baby and pram. We managed but worth bearing in mind if you aren’t able to manage easily. There is no bath, but again we knew this in advance and managed just fine. To get a perfect 10 a lamp in the living room (for more cosy evening light) and more pillows and coat hangers would make it absolutely perfect! Not essentials, but nice to haves.
