Zumrad Boutique Hotel

The ambience, design of the space, the beautiful, accomodating room, the welcoming staff, breakfast, services available (such as next day laundry) all made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

I didn't have any issues at all. This was a fantastic hotel.

The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. And the building is beautiful. Breakfast was amazing!! Staff is super gentle and helpful. Highly recommended.

Our stay was very positive for the first two nights. The room was spotless, brand new and thoughtfully decorated. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon worked well. Breakfast was very good and the staff were polite and welcoming throughout. The location was ideal. It's only a short walk to the centre of Bukhara.

On the final day of our three night stay, the manager informed us when we returned to the hotel in the afternoon that a family needed our room and we would have to move. We had booked a twin room (two single beds) but they had given us a room with a double and a single bed. Relocating guests mid-stay, without any prior notice, is a serious breach of basic hospitality standards. What if we had been out all day and returned late at night? The manager was apologetic but didn't seem to fully grasp why this was unacceptable, which made it harder to address. As compensation we were offered a soft drink and some fridge magnets. The gesture seemed well-intentioned but felt completely inadequate for the disruption caused. I have stayed in hotels extensively and this is the first time I have experienced something like this. This put a major dampener on what had until this point been a very positive stay.
