    We treated ourselves to a weekend getaway for our 25th anniversary. While we did have a lovely weekend, I thought the accommodation was overpriced (but I admit that Rotto in general is overpriced. Definitely not the accessible family getaway it used to be). The accommodation was nice. Of note, there is no television. I know people don’t go to Rotto to watch tv, but when paying over *** a night I did expect there to be one in our accommodation. If you want a quiet getaway, it is definitely not the place to go. Lots of kids nearby having noisy fun. We did see a few whales splashing about in the distance from our verandah, which was lovely. The bathroom and toilet are quite exposed. Bathroom, not such an issue but I think the frosted glass door to the toilet could be improved with a bit more privacy. Not overly romantic seeing someone in the loo. The frosted glass toilet window was oddly placed, exposing someone in the loo to anyone at the front door. Overall it was a pleasant weekend, but I don’t think I will be going back.

    Room was spacious enough for 4 of us. Everything we needed was in the room and the room was really nice, felt like we were really camping. There's a balcony area outside the room and was nice to sit around and chill. We even had a quokka came over to our balcony area to explore. Overall very nice experience. Only downside was that we needed to walk about 10min to the accoms from the ferry terminal/main shops area. It's actually quite a short distance but can feel quite scary if walking after the sun sets as there is not much lights around. But overall still a very decent place, my friends and I really enjoyed ourselves.

    It was a lovely fancy tent but far too expensive for what we got. It was quite cold the night we stayed and heating in the tent was insufficient. No tv. Breakfast provided was amazing but wouldn't pay the price I did to stay again
