The Cozy Nook in Islington

Excelente ubicación. La calefacción funciona fenomenal, calienta muy rápido el piso. La terraza debe estar fenomenal en verano. Las instrucciones del anfitrión fueron muy precisas.

The location was very convenient.

Location is very good bus and overground less than a minute walk away; Kings Cross, Waterloo, and Trafalgar Square are all only 25min away by bus; supermarket just round the corner; Vicky line a 15min walk away. Apartment was clean and well supplied with towels, cutlery, crockery etc; pictures on the listing are accurate. Shower could be a little hotter and I personally think putting some artificial grass on the balcony would be nice but those are more tied to personal preference. Also there’s no elevator so you’ll need to carry your suitcases up the stairs (not too difficult tbh)

Shortly after booking our 4night stay I received an email from the host asking for us to either pay a damage deposit of £500, or pay a damage waiver fee of £35 through the strly (no typo) platform. This is not outlined in the property’s description or policies and despite asking the host to add it in, since booking.com requires this information to be disclosed prior to booking, they have not done so therefore we felt a slight responsibility to mention this in our review. We ended up paying the waiver fee since the deposit was over 75% of the total cost of the booking. We didn’t have any issues after checking out, so it hasn’t turned into anything scam-like or sinister, however not mentioning this policy in the listing even after being prompted to and 5+ years as a host on the site is objectively strange and you should possibly exercise some caution here.

Lägenheten var mindre än beskrivningen och bilderna.För trångt sovrum med smal säng. Fanns inte två sovrum som nämns i beskrivningen. Luktade rök i Lägenheten när vi kom.Luktade mat os i lägenheten från grannar. Lyhört och störande musik och röster efter 23.00.
