A well restored Victorian hotel, with quirky and modern decor. We stayed for 2 nights in the studio with bath. Fabulous the first night and basic the second night ( both nights the same cost)
We were given a welcome letter that included a sentence that said for your privacy we will refresh your room on request. This means the room is not serviced at all. Bed not made, bathroom not cleaned. Even when I went to reception to ask when the room would be serviced, I was told I had not read the welcome letter. The outcome, bed not made, tea and coffee not replenished and bathroom not cleaned. We found this to lack the luxury service described when we booked. As it was a long weekend, we also found that the early closure on Sunday evening with no food offering, a little surprising. Certainly, a great place for a Saturday night stay.

We loved the cocktail bar area and the very friendly and efficient staff. We enjoyed the live music and the delicious bar snacks. The decor is very fabulous.
I would have liked a little service of our room and replenish tea/coffee amenities.
