Nikau Grove - Onetangi Holiday Home

Traditional villa, spacious and comfortable beds. Renovated bathroom and functional kitchen. The fireplace heated the entire house, although another wall heater in the dining room would be helpful, particularly during winter. The wall heaters in the bedrooms were fabulous. Private location surrounded by trees. Loved the front landscaping and lighting. Afternoon sun streamed into my bedroom which was wonderful during a cold winters day.

The driveway is steep, curves and it’s not easy to navigate. You need to use a low gear and approach it from coming down the hill. It did deter us venturing out and it was stressful. Once down there’s excellent space for your car. Cleaning was ok but could be improved, particularly behind the furniture and outside beanbags.

Location was great for a walk down to Onetangi beach and coffee. Nice villa vibe.

Exterior of House was dusty and full of cobwebs. Driveway too steep and should be part of the description on website. No iron!

Lovely cottage, front garden was beautifully landscaped with excellent lighting. Beds were comfortable, bathroom new and tidy, kitchen was practical. Fireplace worked well to heat the house, although another wall heater in the dining room would have been welcomed.

Cleaning could be improved. The driveway is very steep and dangerous. You need a four wheel drive to navigate. Deterred us venturing out.
