Terrace of Wally - Apartment With Pool

The accommodation itself felt like pure luxury. The views were absolutely jaw-dropping — at times we genuinely couldn’t believe how beautiful they were. The property was spotlessly clean and even smelled amazing from the moment we arrived. Everything was very well maintained: the pool was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the apartment had so many lovely details that made the stay feel extra special. There were multiple TVs throughout the apartment, and we had a hot tub on the rooftop terrace, which made the whole experience feel incredibly relaxing and luxurious. Overall, it truly felt like an amazing place to stay and a place you would like to come back.

This is not necessarily something we disliked, but rather something future guests should be aware of before booking. The journey up to the property was extremely challenging for us. If you are not used to very steep Italian mountain roads, it may come as quite a shock. At one point, our car genuinely struggled to make it up the hill, which made our arrival very stressful. The road is incredibly steep and can feel almost vertical at times. The Wi-Fi signal was also a little weak, and the air conditioning could use some improvement. Despite the hosts kindly trying to fix it remotely, the temperature in the apartment never dropped below 26°C. It would also have been nice to have a few basic kitchen essentials provided, such as tea/coffee, sugar, or washing tablets to start with, although we understand these are not mandatory. Overall, the main challenge for us was the location and access to the property. Because of the steep road, going up and down frequently became quite stressful, so we felt somewhat limited during our stay. There are also no taxis or delivery services available in the area. We did manage to drive to the shops a couple of times, but it wasn’t always easy. That said, views this breathtaking usually come with a price — and the scenery truly was unforgettable.
