Gorgeous 2-Bed Victorian Home in Artsy Suburb

The location is great. It is on a very quiet street but close to the tram stop if you want to go into the city. The beds were very comfortable and the property has plenty of space, including a lovely outside area at the back.

There is only 1 bathroom (without toilet) and 1 toilet, not 2 bathrooms as advertised which was disappointing. The "free toiletries" were just small tubes - 1 shower gel, 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner - minimal for 4 people for 3 nights! And in the kitchen, only 3 sachets of sugar. It needed a good clean throughout, for example the drawers in the bathroom had hair and dirt in them. We were also very unhappy when we were told that it would cost us an extra $91 to check in 1hr early!

Nicely renovated victorian terrace with lots of light and a well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds and lounge area. also nice to sit in backyard.

Hot water could be hotter. It was also very cold when we arrived -- took a while for the heater to kick in.

The street is very quiet yet close to amenities and transport. The house is well laid out with a nice feel.

Some of the fittings didn’t work and the house is beginning to look tired. The crockery provide was insufficient, for example there were only 3 coffee/tea cups and one of those was chipped and cracked.
