Nephele - Unique Beachfront Apartment in Nea Makri

Once we found the apartment it was easy to get the keys. The best part of this place is the location, the view, the veranda. The lounge and bedroom were comfortable.

The address of the property is given as No.60 Moseou which made it really difficult to follow the directions to the apartment as they were given from another street i.e. Leof.Posidonos. we had to walk around for ages to find the spot where the directions are given from. The apartment is really dated, especially the kitchen and the bathroom, There is mould in many spots around the bath. The shower is the old telephone type in the bath. There were no new bottles of shower gels or shampoo- only some old previously used bottles which is not very professional. The kitchen: rusty stove hobs, door to the outside which cannot lock as rusted mechanism. No basic supplies such as teabags, coffee, sugar or coffee machine. There was a kettle. A bottle of water in the fridge would have been a welcome addition. There is a washing machine but no instructions for use or visible washing powder or liquid.

I booked the apartment for my family, who came to visit us. The host informed us perfectly with all the needed info. Nice apartment with a beautiful (sea) view. Private (free) parking is available. Comfortable bed. The WiFi connection was not always stable, but they used their own data, so it was not a problem. In the kitchen you can find all you need, including a washing machine. The kitchen may look outdated, but no issue for us. The rest of the furniture is also fine. The whole apartment was spotless, including the bathroom. The location is perfect, quiet but still nearby all restaurants, bars, the beach, Nea Makri port, and walking distance to the center with all kinds of shops, bakeries, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.
