The Leigh Nest

The Leigh Nest was clean, presentable and good value for money. We booked a 2 night stay for an evening out and it met all our expectations. Well placed near a retail park allowing for easy food purchases. The kitchen had a better selection of consumables than most with oil, milk and condiments (too many to list!) allowing easy preparation of food without panicking for forgetting this and that. The garden was tidy and a real suntrap which was nice. The bathroom and shower were well presented with shower gel, soap and towels (there were even disposable toothbrushes available should we have forgotten our own) Bedrooms were tidy and functional with hanging space and hangers. There were plenty of charging ports for phones and laptops throughout the house. Communication was good and information provided was really useful.

Trying to think of anything negative, the 9am checkout was a bit challenging but I'm sure if we had asked a later checkout could have been accommodated.

Easy to access, driveway was a nice bonus. House was very clean and looked after

The windows are in desperate need of repair/replacement you can hear the wind and road noise from every room. Heating had to be turned up higher than expected to counter the poor sealing windows

The property was very spacious and clean. 5 stars. The Hist was only a phone call away and was very helpful.
