Das Zimmer (s. unten *) war sauber und passend für die eine Nacht. Die direkte Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war gut und dieser zuverlässig. Da der von ihm organisierte Abholdienst sich bei der Ankunft um fast eine Stunde verspätet hatte, überrnahm der Gastgeber den Transport zurück zum Flughafen selbst, was ich sehr zu schätzen wusste.

1. Das Warten auf den Chauffeur bei der Abholung am Flughafen. 2. Laut Beschreibung und ebenso Bestätigung bei der Buchung war "die ganze Unterkunft" exklusiv für mich reserviert, was mir als allein reisender Frau willkommen war. Im Widerspruch dazu hatten diverse Leute, von denen ich nichts wusste, rund um die Uhr Zugang zu dem Appartement, und am Morgen fand ich einen weiteren Gast einquartiert. Zwar konnte ich mein Zimmer verschliessen und ich fühlte mich sicher, doch die tatsächliche Situation beeinträchtigte mein Wohlbefinden, und ich halte die Fehlinformation für inakzeptabel. Da das Appartement gross ist, hätte ich das "Teilen" mit Fremden wohl akzeptieren können, sofern der Gastgeber mich vor der Buchung entsprechend informiert hätte.

The location was extremely convenient, the property was very clean, and the owner/manager was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They truly went above and beyond in every sense — even offering us food and arranging transport to take us to the airport.

Nothing everything was great

The host was absolutely wonderful and made my stay much easier. He speaks great English and was incredibly helpful with directions to the property. He went above and beyond in the evening by making sure I had dinner and even arranged (and paid for) a car to take me to the airport the next morning. It was a generous gesture that made a huge difference.

The location is a bit remote from the main street, and difficult to walk with the Senegalese sand on unpaved side streets. But the locals were willing and ready to support when asked. It’s important to know that you aren't booking a full apartment, but rather a large private room. The bathroom is technically shared, though I fortunately had it to myself during my stay. Also, there are quite a few mosquitoes in the area, so I’d definitely recommend using bug spray before going to sleep.
