Delightful beachfront apartment - 2 bedrooms sleeps 4 - parking & stunning views

Excellent beach location with parking. Modern clean interior

Comfortable settee, Comfortable beds, lovely clean accommodation. The location was really good. Plenty of plates, crockery and cooking pots,pans etc

Not much really we found it very good, however the stairs could be an issue for people with mobility issues. The fridge is only an undercounter type, so space for food could be an issue. Not much cupboard space for our own groceries

The location is excellent, you couldn't wish for better, and having off street parking is a massive plus as that's a real problem during the day in Filey - the property was nice internally and spotlessly clean.

(1) Externally the property is very tired, almost rundown, so you don't get a 'luxury' feel at all then you turn up (think peeling paint / plaster, overgrown garden, cracked driveway tarmac etc.), the outside of the property definitely doesn't give you the feel the photos do. (2) Internally the property is well kept, but it's not 'luxury' - it is nice internally, but anyone paying £200 / £250 per night is going to live in somewhere more luxurious internally than this. (3) Parking is super tight on the drive, and almost on a 45-degree slope, so for anyone not super comfortable with very tight parking it's not going to be fun (we have loads of single track roads where I live, so I'm used to super tight passing / driving conditions, and even I didn't like it). (4) I was surprised, and a little annoyed, at how small the 'twin' room was - you'd be lucky if there was 30cm between the 2 beds, which is acceptable if you know about it, but they seem to have specifically cut the picture of that room so you don't seem how tight it is - it's the fact the photos seem to have been taken to 'hide' the fact that annoyed me. (5) Booking was a mess, firstly the incorrect price came through on Booking.com, then even when you book the property has to 'confirm' it (it's not immediate), then, even when I'd booked, had it confirmed, and they'd got my money, they called to confirm I still wanted the booking (!) - I probably book 20+ different stays a year on Booking.com and this is the most hassle I'd had with one, it definitely isn't the site's probably, I just don't think they should really be on a site like this and should be using on of the 'holiday home rental' sites where people expect it to be a messy endeavor.
