Vera and Kristof were absolutely spectacular! They were incredibly kind and accommodating. The breakfast that was prepared was outstanding. The river is only 50m from the apartment. We heard many different birds singing in the morning and it was quiet at night. It was magical.

That I had to leave.

Located on a peaceful, family-owned and operated organic vineyard (Kristo does everything!), this is perfect for a cosy, relaxing weekend. The setting is charming: couples come to take their wedding photographs on the nearby suspension bridge; the night sky is stunning; the trees are filled with birds and the river full of fish. The accommodation itself is a self-contained flat in what used to be a wine tasting room, and still has plenty of hallmarks of boutique hostelry charm. You will not be short of wine yourself - it's even served with breakfast! If you overindulge, a refreshing plunge in the crystal clear Zeta will clear your head in an instant. Vjera is a perfect host - thoughtful, charming and gregarious – she made me feel right at home from the moment I got out of the car. She loves life and is eager for everyone around her to do the same.❤️ She speaks English well (much better than she will admit to!), and was happy to endure (and encourage!) my learner-level Serbian/Montenegrin.🇷🇸🇲🇪 I chose it for the wine, the fireplace (which I didn’t use- too warm in June!) and the proximity to the river – there is a beautiful park area 100m away with plenty of shade and good access points to the water. Access note: Google Maps will direct you through the village of Zagorak, but you can drive over the suspension bridge, IF your car is narrow and light - SUV drivers be warned! If you need to park on the other side of the river, it is an easy 100m walk to the accommodation and the road is well lit at night. If you forget anything, there is a local shop 50m up the road. Similarly, the wonderful Svera restaurant is a short drive away (and they serve Bošković wine, of course!). But chances are you will want for nothing and never want to leave. 🍷😍

Pricing is a little more towards the luxury end of the market, but that was good for me or I would have quit my job and stayed all summer! 🤣
