The owner of the condo doesn't like me asking questions. He sent security one time when I asked for towels, instead of just picking up the phone when I called. I had many questions but because of his lack of interest in answering them, I just tried to figure it out on my own. I had a lot of trouble working the tv so I just gave up. Calling him would not have helped because he just likes to take your money up front, and leave you to figure out working stuff on your own. I didn't even know that I had to use my key fob to open the gate because he gave no briefing on how to do anything. So I thought it was motion sensored and I just sat there in my car waiting for the gate to open until some kind stranger told me to use the fob so that it would open. His answer for everything was that it was all very easy so there is no need to call him for anything. I will not be back, and I'm sure he doesn't care because I believe that was his intent all along. I'm not used to the way things are done in hawaii, especially as far as condos are concerned. and needed help in manuevering things, as it is all very different from the way things are done in orlando. In the very beginning he had offered to refund my money before I even entered the state. I should have took that as the red flag it was, and went somewhere else. I should have went to people who practice good customer service help. Apparently the condos in hawaii want to function like hotels but without the customer service help part. At least at this place.
