It was in a great location! 5 min walk to Sao Bento and a 15 min walk down to the river. Lots of restaurants, shops and sights close by. Livaria Llevo is a 10 min walk. The top of the bridge is a 15 min walk. The AC worked great. The water pressure and heat in the shower was great. The kitchen had plenty of utensils. The Full bed was a bit firm, but comfortable. There is a small balcony that overlooks a beautiful and peaceful tiered courtyard. The hosts were very responsive and even gave us a good sports bar recommendation so that we could watch the World Cup.

Only downside was when the upstairs neighbors were at home, the floor is creaky. They were only at home during one night, so it wasn’t bad.

Lack of storage for clothes. Noisey floorboards so we were conscious about making a noise for the neighbours below.

Great location. No noise from outside/street. Light and bright. Good customer support.

There were several maintenance issues (bedside lamps short circuiting most worrying). Some minor cleaning issues. A lot of disturbance from creaking floorboards from above all through the night (insomniac tenant in above flat!) - mentioned by previous guests! Bed was a little on the small side (not king-size) and no storage for clothes or toiletries.
