Loved being right on the water. Very spacious, clean and peaceful. Beds are comfortable. Not a lot of restaurants and such right in Hvalvík, but there is a gas station, Bonus supermarket and a few restaurants across the bridge. We highly recommend Rose's Restaurant. Make a reservation! Vert provides a nice thorough link to an app that has all your stay/check-in instructions in it. Very helpful. There is a detailed list of things to do upon checkout. If you don't do some, there are fines attached. But they are pretty much common sense and nothing over the top.

The shower did not drain very well, so we were always standing in water. Also make sure and read the fine print as there is an additional credit card surcharge for some (not all) cardholders. That was disappointing as I prefer to have the final payment on my booking at sites like this and airbnb be the final cost, from a budgeting standpoint. There was also an additional linen and city tax (they do clearly state this is not included in the listing, but I read it too quickly and thought it was. Also, it was almost always included in all other listings on the site, so I just assumed...my bad). Overall, we paid about $80 more than expected. Would probably have stayed anyway because the property is so lovely, but I prefer to have my booking cost match the final cost.

Sehr schönes Bootshaus mit tollem Blick auf den Fjord. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung sehr gut ausgestattet und komfortabel. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer wobei das im oberen Stock am schönsten ist. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett auch bei kleineren Problemen.

Das obere Schlafzimmer liegt zur Straße raus und das Fenster hat keine Rollos oder Vorhänge zum verdunkeln. Direkt an der Straße steht eine Laterne so dass es ständig hell ist.
