The property is in truly a unique setting, next to a romantic castle, and only a few steps away from the lake. It is a former boarding school, and offers large rooms with one or two bunkbeds. Ours had a private bathroom. No towels provided
For security reasons the gate to the lovely courtyard in front of the house is locked with a chain, when the caretaker is not at the property. We did not get a key to the lock, and also no key to lock our room. The alternative access was through the castle’s large, wooden main gate, and through a second gate, that is secured with an alarm system, that we promptly set off.
