Beautiful Waterfront Cabin with Hot Tub near Winston-Salem, North Carolina

We loved how clean and accessible everything was, there was coffee cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee filter as well as prepackaged coffee, creamer and sugar. The amenities were intentional and just right. The cabin was very cozy, there were towels and robes already laid out, there were labels everywhere to make you aware of how to do and treat things. We loved the recliners we spent a lot of time in those we loved how the kitchen and every room was close by so we could cook and still talk. The cabin was very inviting, warm and cozy. There was even an informational guide with things to do we loved that, we kept going to Winston Salem until last day reading that there were things to do around us. The hot tub was amazing!!! The water smelled good it felt good like it was reset everyday, this place is really a hidden gem.

There were a lot of stinkbugs, despite everything being closed it seemed they were coming in from somewhere. We killed about 10 during our stay. Secondly, it’s a cabin in the woods which is exactly what we were going for, but when it gets dark, it gets really dark and driving felt like a final destination movie. If the property had solar panel lighting to guide the way it would’ve felt a little safe, but I couldn’t gauge the dips and hills I almost peed myself twice having to travel in and out.

Location was very cool; loved the woods and creek nearby. The cabin was cute and cozy; of course the fireplace and hot tub made it extra special.

This is not on the property, but Booking.com should do a better job making sure essential information about check in is easy for travelers to access. In addition to an email (which is easily overlooked in the flurry of "your trip is coming up" routine emails that Booking.com sends out) the instructions for check in should be made available on the reservation page in the app. Airbnb does this and it makes essential information easy to find.
