Everything - It is absolutely beautiful. Thee setting is very very cool and enjoyable.

If we were allowed to be a little bit noisy after 10

- The location is great, a few minutes' walk from Ballito main beach - The onsite caretakers, Daniel and Louise, are friendly and very responsive - The house was very clean, and newly painted / decorated - The house is very spacious with large living areas and plenty of beds for a large family. - The garden is well taken care of, with several pleasant outdoor areas, including both wood and gas braai areas - The property is next to a park, so one hears lots of birds all day, and one sees lots of wild birds like hawks, hadidas, and egrets - There is a small onsite pool, which we didn't use, however it was clean, and is a plus

- I booked the main house and the separate apartment house, because I wanted to make sure we had privacy and occupied the entire property. It turned out there were 2 other apartments inside the main building - this was not stated in the booking - the owners need to make it clear on the booking that the property will be shared with others. - One main bedroom is separated from the caretaker's office by a corrugated iron panel (no concrete wall), meaning little to no privacy in terms of sound. - On arrival, the sliding doors to the 2nd floor apartment could not lock. Daniel, the onsite caretaker, was very responsive and fixed them the next day. - Several of the appliances were dated and/or did not work. Recommendation to the owner is to replace the older appliances - it could significantly improve the experience, especially given how spacious and clean the rest of the house is. Daniel and Louise were very reactive, and addressed all the issues in a reasonable time, however this experience seems unnecessary given all these are fixable (A/C, hairdryer, oven, sliding doors, coffee machine, etc).

The house is functional, it has a flow from the rooms, living area to kitchens, all bedroom rooms en-suite which is perfect when you’re in a large group, LARGE kitchen. The pictures don’t do the house justice.

Maybe would have designed I huge folding door into the pool area but I can’t point out anything wrong with the house.
