Marquezy House - Shela, Lamu Island

La casa es bellísima, con sabor a lo antiguo bien hecho, con espacios maravillosos, en una ubicación fantástica. La atención de Vincent fue impecable. Una sensación enormemente acogedora. Un lugar para olvidarse del estrés y relajarse dejando fluir el tiempo. Un lugar verdaderamente especial.

Marquezy House is a beautiful and unique property with a lot of character. The traditional architecture, peaceful gardens, courtyards and overall atmosphere make it feel very special and distinctly Lamu. Vincent was excellent throughout my stay — welcoming, attentive and always available when needed. I especially enjoyed the privacy and tranquillity of the house. It is the kind of place where you can genuinely slow down and enjoy Shela. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.
